Registration
Junior Lifeguards enrolled in the previous year's program are given priority registration. After the priority registration period, enrollment in the Junior Lifeguard Program is on a "first come first served" basis. Due to the popularity of the program, enrollment may fill to capacity.
ALL participants must pass a swim test prior to registration. If your child does not attend or fails to pass the swim test you will not be able to register him/her for the Junior Lifeguard Program.
Participants are considered enrolled in the program when they have passed the swim test and the Lifeguard Department receives a completed application form, release of liability form, and the full payment of fees.
RETURNING JUNIOR LIFEGUARDS
Please bring completed registration forms and payment to the swim test. Registration paperwork will be accepted once your child passes the swim test.
If your child does not attend or pass the last swim test and is not enrolled in the "Last Chance" class s/he will no longer be eligible for priority registration and will have to register at the open registration at Lifeguard Headquarters.
NEW JUNIOR LIFEGUARDS
Your child will receive a Registration packet at the swim test once s/he passes. Passing the swim test does not guarantee enrollment in the program!
All new participants will have to register at Lifeguard Headquarters - Saturday June 19th at 9:00am.
